The ultimate passive income.  Amazon Associates is a free system to set up your own AStore or set up links to monetize your blog or website with products you recommend.  The stores are simple to set up and can be up and running in a weekend.  Multiple stores are allowed as well if you want to set up boutique stores catering to a smaller niche.

#Hollywood Stock Exchange (HSX.com) January 3, 2010

Now in my tenth year as a HSX.com trader, I am still addicted.  Buying and selling movie stocks from development phase to wrap.  I follow my favorite directors to see what is coming down the pike, sometimes 3 to 4 years in advance.

Opportunities to make actual money are available, but if you just want a bit of fun and want to  know what movies are coming out and when, sign up.  To add me to your trader list, search : manifeststefany.  I love competition!

Update: HSX has added profile pages. Great way to meet other traders.

Keep a Mint December 24, 2009

Mint.com is by far one of the best sites I have found to manage spending and find new deals on everything from 401k’s, new banks, and stock trading platforms.  Full listings of fees, potential savings and gains. Alerts are sent via email to let you know you have lost your mind on spending.  It’s a nice reality check.

Mint.com

Mint.com is the leading online personal finance service, providing more than 400,000 users a fresh, easy and intelligent approach to money management. And it’s free. Mint is managing over $12 billion in transactions and has identified more than $100 million in potential savings for its users. Designed to be effortless, Mint.com takes less than five minutes to set up. Users register anonymously using only a valid email address. Mint then does the rest, securely downloading transaction data from more than 7,000 US financial institutions. Users never need to import or synch their data. Mint, rated top in its category by PC World and PC Magazine, applies patent-pending technology and proprietary algorithms to categorize transactions; provide a unified view of all account activity; alert users to low balances, bank fees, upcoming bills, and even potentially suspicious account activity; and give users personalized suggestions for significant savings opportunities.

Investopedia – Financial Wiki December 23, 2009

What an amazing site for those new to the financial world. The glossary alone is worth it’s weight in GLD.
I have found this site and the daily email to be an invaluable learning tool for my daily stock trading.
